Primary infertility of male and female factors, polycystic ovary syndrome and oligoasthenoteratozoospermia dominate the infertile population in agricultural and industrial areas in Karawang Regency, West Java Province, Indonesia

Introduction: Indonesia is a country with large agricultural and industry, known to utilize various types of pesticides, as well several other industries uncontrolled pollution levels distributed across the nation. Besides, numerous studies have stated adverse effects chemicals substances used in daily life industrial waste on health living things, including humans. This study aimed determine infertility characteristic areas Karawang Regency, West Java Province, Indonesia.Methods: The was conducted retrospectively medical records. Therefore, this determined characteristics based sperm analysis, etiology causes female, diagnosis infertility. Data collection obtained from patients' records Infertile Poly Mitra Bunda Amanda Hospital Karawang, Indonesia. Result: results showed most prevalent males aged 30-40 years (55.79%) females below 30 (61.05%). Furthermore, male female's educational qualification (33.68% 36.84%, respectively) discovered be high school diploma. In terms occupation, (56.84%) were laborers, while female mostly housewives (36.84%). Meanwhile, oligoasthenoteratozoospermia analyzed type (33.68%), polycystic ovary syndrome common (26.32%). primary factors, (45.26%).Conclusion: Primary dominate infertile population Indonesia.
